A serious accident coastbound on the A2 caused major tailbacks this afternoon.
A car and a van were involved in the incident between junction 7 of the M2 at Brenley Cornor and the A2050, Upper Harbledown, Canterbury.
Emergency services were called to the scene, halfway between the junctions near Dunkirk at around 12.45pm.
