Seven Afghani youths accused over the murder of a teenager in Folkestone earlier this year will stand trial later in the year.

Fazulmaq Walizada, 18, Farid Hussani, 18, Eraij Faqirzada, thought to be at least 18, Parwiz Rahimi, 18, Parwiz Dilsoz, 19, and two 17-year-old boys, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared at Luton Crown Court last Friday.

Walizada, of Channel House, Bradstone Road, Folkestone, Hussani, of Folkestone Road, Dover, Faqirzada, of no fixed address, and the two younger teenagers, one from Ashford and the other from Tunbridge Wells, all deny murder and violent disorder.

Rahimi, of Windsor Street, Liverpool, and Dilsoz, of Dover Road, Folkestone, are only accused of violent disorder. They deny the charge.

Osman Sherzad, 17, died from stab wounds during the violence in Marine Terrace on January 24. Faqirzada also suffered wounds.

The trial will be at Maidstone Crown Court on October 4.
