A teenager suffered a terrifying ordeal when a shiny-headed bald man kicked her in the chest and tried to grab her.

The assault on the 16-year-old girl took place in an alley behind the BP Garage in Beaver Road, Ashford.

Detectives have now released an e-fit of the attacker (pictured left).

He is described as a white man aged between 30 and 40, of stocky build and 6ft 2in tall with a bald shiny head.

He was wearing a black jumper and his trainers were covered in mud.

The girl was alone when the man approached her in the alley. She managed to run away.

Kent Police said the motive for the assault is not yet clear.

It happened between 2.15am and 3.15am on Sunday.
