AN 18-year-old woman from the county died at the scene of an horrific car accident.

Sarah Barnes was due to be returning to the family home in Bromley Green Road, Bromley Green, when the car she was in collided with another vehicle in Epping, Essex, on Monday.

Her friend, who was driving, died in hospital later.

Sarah's parents have spoken of their heartache. They released the picture on this page, which was taken at home just a few days before she died.

Karen Barnes said: "Sarah was a free spirit, honest and truthful and she had a tremendous amount of friends. She was so precious."
