Teenagers on robbery charge

Two youths have been charged with robbery after two separate incidents in Medway.

The arrests are in connection with alleged robberies in Twydall and Strood.

James Uquart, 18, of Ashwood Close, Rochester, has been charged in connection with both incidents.

The first was at about 8.50pm, at the at the Co-op store in Twydall Green on Sunday.

The second was at about 10.35pm, on Wednesday at the Texaco garage, Watling Street, Strood.

Charlie Ellson, also 18, of Railway Street, Gillingham, has been charged with robbery in connection with the Strood incident.

Both were due to appear before Medway Magistrates today.
