Two Ramsgate teenagers appeared at Margate Youth Court on Wednesday, both charged with robbery and grievous bodily harm with intent.

It follows an attack on 17-year-old Sam Eastwell, who was left on a life support machine after being attacked in a Ramsgate street on August 7.

His wallet, containing £75, mobile phone, MP3 player and two gold rings were stolen in the attack.

A 17-year-old and the 16-year-old have been remanded in custody.

They will appear again at Margate Youth Court on October 8.
