POLICE are appealing for help to catch three young men involved in starting a serious fire on a building site.

The men were spotted scaling the perimeter of the site at North Dane Way at Chatham on Monday night.

A dumper truck and a digger were set alight. Police say damage is estimated at between £60,000 to £100,000.

All the culprits are described as white and in their late teens. Two are of stocky build and the other of medium build. One had dark hair and tattoos.
