Update: Man dies after crash on A259 at Brookland

The man killed in a crash on Romney Marsh last week has been named by police as Bradley Newman from New Romney.

The 63 year-old, of High Street, New Romney was driving a blue AC Cobra sports car when it left the road after colliding with a red Ford KA.

It happened on the A259 at Brookland at 3.50pm on Friday October 14.

An inquest is due to be opened next week.

The two people in the other vehicle, a red Ford Ka, were not injured.

The police serious collision unit is appealing for any witnesses to contact officers on 01622 798538.
