APPEARANCE and personality were the two main attributes the judges were looking for when they selected this year's Queenborough Snow Queen and Princesses. Vickie Packer, 15, of Manor Road, was the winner.

Lisa Woodley, 16, Manor Road, and K-Leigh, Almond, also 16, of Alsager Avenue, will be her princesses. The trio will represent Queenborough and Rushenden in this year's Christmas Lights and Torchlight Parade on Sunday, December 2.

Vickie said:: "I was really pleased when they said I was going to be Snow Queen but also a little bit shocked. I'm nervous about what I've got to do but at the same time I'm also looking forward to it."
