Average waiting times for a GP appointment have reached more than two weeks

Our top story today is about how long you're having to wait to get a GP appointment.

A survey suggests the typical wait has now topped two weeks for the first time.

The Government though is disputing the figures - saying two in three appointments happen within seven days of being booked.
