A ghost hunting trip ended up with one family being spooked...by a wallaby!

Mum Mandy Page took daughters Sophie, 16, and Lauren, 11, for a spot of ghoul watching in Pluckley on Thursday evening.

But instead of seeing a headless horseman in Britain's most haunted village, the family spotted an animal better suited to Australia's outback.

As the picture shows, the wallaby looked quite at home in the Kent foliage.

Mandy said: "We took our daughters to Pluckley Thursday evening with the intention of may be seeing some sort of ghost or headless horseman.
"No luck though, although our daughters spotted, after a second take, a wallaby staring at them. They were well excited, especially Sophie.
"Is this a known fact that wallaby's are wild in Pluckley?"
