What a difference a week can make for weather.

Many were basking in the sunshine over the Easter weekend but now we are being told to prepare for strong winds and rain from incoming Storm Hannah.

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for the region.

It comes days after the four-day weekend brought temperatures as high as 20C to Kent.

The unseasonal warmth made for summery scenes including a packed Dreamland in Margate, visited by over 35,000 for the Camp Bestival take-over during the break.

But people are being told to brace themselves for falling tree branches and travel disruption as Hannah drifts east towards Kent.

Over the next 24 hours Kent residents are being told to expect an erratic mix of sunny spells, showers, and thunderstorms.

By Friday night Hannah is predicted to touch down in the county brining with it the powerful gusts which could last into Saturday afternoon.

The wind is expected to bring with it more rain and showers.

With any luck, the wind will have subsided by Saturday night.
