Kent have completed the signing of West Indies batsman Brendan Nash as their overseas player.

Nash, who has played 21 Tests and nine one-day internationals will join the club later this month in time for the opening fixture against Yorkshire at Headingley. He will be available for the whole of the 2012 campaign.

Kent head coach Jimmy Adams (pictured)was pleased to secure the services of Nash.

"Brendan’s ability, coupled with his experience at every level of the game, will undoubtedly be of tremendous value to the club especially given his availability for the entire season," he said.

"I look forward to welcoming Brendan to Kent in the next couple of weeks in preparation for the season opener in early April.”
