Invicta Dynamos 10 Streatham Redskins 4

THE Gillingham-based Invicta Dynamos ice hockey squad won the top-of-the-table clash against the Streatham Redskins at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday.

Jordy Black scored a hat-trick of goals in the 10-4 victory over their ENHL South league title rivals.

The result leaves Dynamos three points clear of Streatham with three games to go.

Invicta were leading 3-0 after the first period, when Stuart Low, Andy Smith and Anthony Lennon netted.

Kev Lake’s effort made it 4-0 in the second but Streatham pulled a goal back.

Black’s third period treble finished Streatham off and further strikes from Andy Smith, Jamie Smith and Peter Carey put Invicta into a commanding lead at the top of the table.

Dynamos now travel to Streatham for the reverse fixture this Sunday.
