Gillingham v Rotherham

INJURIES are still hitting Gillingham with striker Darius Henderson suffering an abdominal injury which rules him of Saturday's game against bottom side Rotherham.

With Iwan Roberts banned after receiving five cautions and Tommy Johnson taking a knock during training, Gills frontline is again looking bare.

Top scorer Darren Byfield looks set to start against his former club after missing the last two games with a reccurrence of a knee injury and he should partner newly-married Mamady Sidibe.

Andy Hessenthaler could make his first appearance since resigning as manager but if fit, he will start on the bench, having been missing for a month with an ankle injury.

Keeper Steve Banks has returned to training and should be available again but new manager Stan Ternent looks set to conintue with Norwich loan signing Paul Gallacher.

Ternet said: "We have two good goalkeepers available for selection. Gallagher played well last week and if he maintains that level of performance, then he will stay in the team.

He stressed: "We have too big an injury list at the moment but one or two are returning and when we get them all back fit and maybe get a couple of players in on loan, then we can get up and running and away."
