Largest ever crowd for Kent Twenty20

Surrey Lions v Kent Spitfires

KENT Spitfires play their sixth Twenty20 Cup qualifier at The Brit Oval on Friday.

Surrey have already sold 14,000 advance tickets and capacity will be reduced to 20,000 for what will be the largest ever attendance for a group Twenty20 qualifier.

Some tickets may be available for sale on the day, but The Oval’s head of sales Johnny Grave is recommending Kent supporters access surreycricket.com on the internet before travelling to the game.

He said: "It may be that we do sell out, so it would be best if Kent fans check our website before setting out."

Kent will then wrap up their Southern Group matches with back-to-back ties against Sussex and Essex at St Lawrence next Tuesday and Wednesday evenings (July 5 and 6).
