Staple youngster George Finch produced a never-to-be forgotten bowling display for Goodnestone in a friendly against Westbourne on Sunday.

The 15-year-old Sandwich Technology School pupil, from Staple, claimed 9-44 from 11.3 overs including clean bowling seven of his victims.

The Goodnestone captain, Andy Brown, said: “It was an absolutely outstanding achievement by George, and one that I have never seen in all the time I have been playing men’s cricket, let alone by a 15-year-old!”
