A CHARITY golf day is being staged at the Weald of Kent Golf Club at Headcorn, near Maidstone, on Friday, July 15, in aid of Amicus Vision.

The day will include a round of golf, as well as breakfast and lunch, and is priced at £55 per player.

Amicus Vision is a Kent-based charity that aims to help people gain the skills and self-belief they need to create better lives for themselves and their families. It is currently working on projects to support victims of domestic violence, the homeless and other vulnerable people.

The first golf day, held last year, was a success and raised £3,500. Anyone interested in entering is asked to contact Sue Hutton on 01795 431134.
