GILLINGHAM'S top scorer Paul Shaw has been honoured with the club's Players' Player of the Year by his Priestfield team-mates.

The striker received the trophy at the club's awards dinner on Monday night. In a season to remember for the club's quiet man, he also received club sponsors Seafrance's Player of the Year accolade. Runner-up was goalkeeper Jason Brown.

Midfielder Danny Spiller, who created a big impression after breaking into the side in the final month of the season, won the Young Player of the Year award.
