Southall ready to face Lewes
Southall ready to face Lewes

Nicky Southall will line up for Gillingham reserves tonight at Lewes but new Chinese arrival Ying Ming Ye won’t feature.

Manager Mark Stimson has named a 16-man squad for the trip but Ye won’t be included after the club failed to receive international clearance.

Southall has been made available for loan and Stimson will hope his inclusion in the team could lead to interest from watching scouts.

Although Ye won’t feature, the Gills boss will use the match to watch right-sided Dutch midfielder Tonnie Cusell.

Along with a number of youth players Stimson has also named midfielder Stuart Lewis who is currently trying to force his way into the first team.

Squad: Kiely, Quinn, Clohessy, Wynter, Walder, Wybraniec, Bartrum, Ben, Lewis, Southall, Hill, Thomas, Howard, Rooney, Cumbers, Cusell.
