Sierra Leone winger Albert Jarrett will get another chance to impress Gillingham manager Mark Stimson this week.

Jarrett, who was released by Watford in 2007, has been without a club since then and was involved in Gillingham’s reserve game against Southampton last week.

The 23-year-old is now set to feature in Wednesday's reserve team outing against Crystal Palace.

“He was quite lively on Wednesday and put some great balls into the box,” said Stimson.

Also on trial last week were Trevor Benjamin, Tyron Amory, Roland Benedict and Marcus Haber.

Canadian striker Haber and American Benedict are both also expected to feature against Crystal Palace but Benjamin and Amory have not been invited back.

Stimson is also planning on naming a number of the club’s first year pros and youth team members.

The reserve game takes place at Bromley’s Hayes Lane ground, kick-off 7pm.
