Brands Hatch gatecrasher Jack Cottle from Wadhurst charged with causing public nuiscance

A man who gatecrashed Brands Hatch in the middle of a race has been charged with causing a public nuisance.

Jack Cottle, 21, entered the race track while driving his girlfriend's silver Volkswagen Polo on Sunday, June 15.

He will appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Monday, September 22.

Cottle, of Durgates in Wadhurst, was arrested after allegedly bypassing security to get onto the track during a four-hour Beetle race.

The former Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit, in Fawkham, hosted the Volkswagen Fun Cup race.
