Firefighters are tackling a blaze that has broken out in a cornfield.
Kent Fire and Rescue received a number of calls to the incident at Ashton Way, A228, West Malling Bypass.
A total of eight fire engines have been deployed over the afternoon as the fire spread to hedgerows and farm buildings.
Vast plumes of smoke can be seen rising from the site where crews have been taking on the flames with hoses and beaters.
Farm machinery is being used to create a firebreak to help prevent the fire from spreading further and to break down some stacks of baled straw.
