Masquerade party at The Fancy Goat, in West Malling High Street, will raise funds for The Quest School at The Hop Farm in Paddock Wood.

A masquerade party will help to spread some festive cheer to a charity for autistic children.

Masked revellers are invited to attend a night of celebrations at The Fancy Goat, in West Malling High Street, in support of The Quest School in Paddock Wood.

The centre, which moved from Roughetts Road, Ryarsh, to the Hop Farm in Maidstone Road earlier this year, provides specialist education and personal development for youngsters with autism.

The pupils and staff will benefit from the sale of 120 tickets available for the fundraiser on Tuesday, December 23, with organisers looking to boost the total with separate donations.

The festivities have been arranged by the team behind The Social music festival, which was at Maidstone’s Mote Park for the second year running in September.

It is not the first time the group has supported Quest. In January, hundreds of people attended a night of music at Buddha Belly, in Pudding Lane, Maidstone, and raised almost £5,000.

Well known DJ Nic Fanciulli, from West Malling, who co-owns the event company, has close connections with the school.

The father-of-one said: “We picked this charity because not only is the care and education they offer the children excellent, but the respite care also provides an excellent relief for parents.

“Having a family member within the charity gave me a full insight to the great work they do and we are very happy to be able to support them.”

Mr Fanciulli is one of the acts performing at the Masquerade Adventure.

Tickets, which cost £25 and include a glass of prosecco on arrival, can be bought from The Fancy Goat.

Guests are asked to wear black and white, and masks are mandatory. Doors open at 7pm.
