Two primary schools are the latest to be hit by coronavirus.
St James the Great in East Malling has sent home the whole Year 2 group to self-isolate until December 4, after their teacher tested positive for covid 19.
Head teacher of the Chapman Way single-form entry school Tamasin Springett said: "We've followed the guidelines ans asked all the pupils who may have come into contact with the teacher to self isolate. We've also deep cleaned the classrooms.
"The children will be given virtual lessons until they can return."
At Barming Primary School, two members of the "school community" have tested positive.
Two bubbles, in Year 1 and Year 5, are self isolating, the school said in an email to parents yesterday evening.
The school is continuing to monitor the situation and is working closely with Public Health England. Barming Primary was approached for further comment.
The establishments join a growing number of schools that have sent classes or year groups home while some schools have had to close completely.
