"The children will be given virtual lessons until they can return."

At Barming Primary School, two members of the "school community" have tested positive.

Two bubbles, in Year 1 and Year 5, are self isolating, the school said in an email to parents yesterday evening.

The school is continuing to monitor the situation and is working closely with Public Health England. Barming Primary was approached for further comment.

The establishments join a growing number of schools that have sent classes or year groups home while some schools have had to close completely.
