Divers have been searching a lake for a dog missing since last month.
Miniature pinscher Lola vanished from Leybourne Lakes, Snodland, back in September and a host of volunteer are trying to find the vulnerable canine.
The 12-year-old suffers from seizures and her owners are concerned she may have been stolen or fallen in the water.
Kent Scuba went into the lakes yesterday to search for Lola and haven't found her yet.
Lisa Dean, from Beautys Legacy Reuniting Lost and Stolen Animals and Promoting Animal Welfare, is helping owner Leigh Reed try and find the dog.
She said: "We now have local dive teams searching the water for her body.
"It is feared she has had a seizure and fallen into the water. There is also the possibility of theft. The owners are absolutely distraught.
"The last time Lola was seen was September 22. However our charity were only asked to help a couple of days ago so we are playing catch up and are desperate to find her."
After escaping, Lola was seen heading home but went into flight mode and ran off.
Lisa added: "While there is every chance she is still out there, we are now considering the very real possibility that she may have been stolen."
The family is offering a reward for Lola's safe return.
