Motorcyclist, 25, killed in collision in Otterham Quay Lane, Rainham

A man has died after his motorbike collided with a recovery truck.

The 25-year-old, from Lambeth in south London, was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident in Rainham yesterday.

Police officers along with ambulance crews and the air ambulance arrived at Otterham Quay Lane at 3pm.

Officers from the police's serious collision investigation unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage.

In particular, investigators are also appealing to a driver of a dark SUV-type model which was seen travelling in front of the motorcyclist, in the direction of the A2, before the collision happened.
