Two men had to be rescued last night after their boat ran aground on the River Medway.
The Thames Coastguard received a call from the pair, aged 39 and 51, on board the Night Owl at about 6.15pm.
The boat had lost power and got stuck on a mud bank on Hoo Island.
Sheerness RNLI Inshore lifeboat attended the incident and located the vessel after a short search.
It was towed safely to Chatham Marina where it was met by Medway Coastguard.
Both men were unharmed.
