The pair featured on ITV's The Voice with Jamie reaching the finals of season three and Millie loosing out in the battle rounds to Ty Lewis in this year's competition.

The fundraiser was held in aid of Abigail's Footsteps, a Chatham based charity, who provide support to families following still-birth bereavement.

It is the Medway Messenger's Charity of the Year.

Head of operations and events for the charity Faye Hill said: "A huge thank you to everyone that attended Bex & Johnny's charity event.

"There was so much going on, good food, great company, beautiful hampers to be won and plenty of dancing, which wouldn't have happened without the amazing music from Jamie Johnson and Millie Bowell.

"The dance floor was packed all night long and by far the highlight of the evening was an unrehearsed duet of Shallow.

"Also a special thank you to the evenings corporate sponsor SpecSavvy Opticians based at Chatham Dockside."

A raffle, pick a lucky square, guess the weight of a cake and an auction were on offer at the event last Saturday to raise vital funds for the charity.

Faye added: "The generosity in the room was so heartfelt, with David Ward getting up to speak about why he and his wife Jo Ward started the charity after their daughter Abigail Ward was stillborn in 2009 and how 10

years later the support & care we provide is very much needed within our community."

"The money raised will help support families following the death of a baby, the funds will allow midwives to attend specialist bereavement training and will enable families to receive counselling sessions in Kent."

There are still tickets available for their 10 year anniversary gala on July 10, to find out more visit their website.
