Vehicle fire after crash on M2 London bound between junction 3, Chatham, and junction 2, Strood

A vehicle burst into flames after colliding with a bank on the M2 on Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were called at 1.15pm to reports of a crash on the M2 London bound between junction 3, for Chatham, and junction 2, for Strood.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The crash caused major delays on the M2 throughout the afternoon.
