Firefighters called to blaze at Goodwin Park, on Sandwich Industrial Estate

Crews on six engines spent more than three hours tackling a fire which spread to 12 vehicles.

The blaze started in Goodwin Park, on Sandwich Industrial Estate, Sandwich, at 4.40pm yesterday.

Six fire engines attended, as well as a bulk water carrier.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and compressed air foam to extinguish the fire, which involved approximately 12 vehicles.

The fire had been put out by 7.49pm and the cause is unknown.

Duty of care was left with the site owner.
