This year's event will take place on Monday, May 4, starting at 7pm, but the deadline for applying to take part is Friday, February 28.

All ages, genres and abilities are welcomed at this inclusive event.

Applicants can apply online or by calling 01732 227000.

Successful applicants will be notified by Monday, March 9.

Sevenoaks District Council chairman, Cllr John Edwards-Winser, said: “We’re delighted to be holding the Big Community Sing at the Stag Theatre again.

"It’s a great opportunity for a diverse range of singing groups to perform in front of hundreds of people while raising money for mental health charities.

“Singing as part of a group is a great way to get involved in the local community and improve health and wellbeing.”

Tickets to watch the Big Community Sing cost £5 and go on sale from March 9 from the Stag Box Office.

All money raised will go to support local mental health services.

Visit the Stag or call 01732 450175.
