The company has been selling a range of oak and hardwood furniture for three decades.

They have four other stores and discount outlets across Kent – including Ashford, Chatham, and Sheerness.

The Queenborough branched opened in December 2020.

It was the last unit to be filled at the retail park after sitting empty for three years.

However, a sign has recently been spotted inside the store, which confirms it will be closing.

Staff say they will be shutting “sometime in February” and are in the process of selling off all the items on the stock floor at a reduced price.

The next nearest store for customers will now be in Power Station Road, Halfway.

HomePlus Furniture has been approached for a comment.
