A man has been charged with damaging several parked cars in Ramsgate.

Officers investigating reports of criminal damage to cars in the town arrested Aaron Smith, 34, of Wellington Crescent.

He has been charged with seven offences of criminal damage in relation to incidents which occurred on Saturday.

He is alleged to have caused damage to cars in Denmark Road and St Lukes Avenue.

Mr Smith has been remanded in custody and was due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link today.
