A Boots chemist is set to close early next year as the company cuts down on stores.
The branch in Northdown Road, Cliftonville, Margate, will shut on January 20, 2024.
It is thought that the planned closure is part of the chain’s bid to consolidate the business by ceasing trading at 300 UK stores.
Bosses announced the news in June and said it would affect stores with other branches nearby.
Staff are understood to be letting customers know where they can get their prescriptions as they come into the shop.
Boots still has locations in Margate town centre and Westwood Cross shopping centre, Broadstairs.
It is not yet known how many employees will lose their jobs at the Cliftonville business.
