A teenage boy was attacked and had his phone snatched during a terrifying robbery.

Police were called to Dane Park in Margate following the mugging, which saw the 17-year-old victim knocked to the floor.

He was then kicked while he was on the ground, before his attacker stole his mobile phone.

Police are investigating the assault and robbery.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the offence at 8.45pm on Thursday is asked to call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/158833/21.
