Car crashes into four vehicles after police chase through Ramsgate

A vehicle crashed into two four cars following a police chase close to the centre of a Kent town.

The pursuit began at 8.45am today, after a motor allegedly failed to stop for officers when requested to do so in St Luke's Avenue, Ramsgate.

Shortly afterwards it smashed into two parked cars as well as another travelling in the opposite direction at low speed, before colliding with a police vehicle in Richmond Road.

A spokesman for the force says two men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

He added: "Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing."
