A young man has been arrested after four cars were destroyed by fire this morning.
The vehicles, which were parked in Claremont Gardens and Grange Road, Ramsgate, caught fire at around 5.20am.
An 18-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of arson and remains in custody as police continue to investigate.
The force confirmed this includes looking at similarites of a spate of arsons in the Ramsgate area last month.
Fire crews were called to the scene to deal with the blaze and no injuries were reported.
One woman who lives in the street said: "I woke up this morning to this at 5.37am. A black car set on fire, which then spread to the car next to it.
"Wasn't sure where my car was parked as it's been a while since I went out due to lockdown, but luckily it wasn't mine, but it was awful.
"This is the second fire on our part of Grange Road and there have been more in nearby road in the past months.
"Another car was torched in St Lawrence this morning a couple of roads away, which spread to a property close by.
"The fire service did a great job this morning. Let's hope they actually catch the culprit and keep them detained."
Police spokesman James Walker said: "Investigators have spoken with a number of witnesses and reviewed available CCTV but remain keen to hear from anyone who has information that is yet to speak with them."
