Sergeant Jay Langshaw, of the east Kent missing persons team, said: “It is now a week since Adam was reported missing and we are very keen to check that he is okay.

“We hope that someone may recognise him from the distinctive hat he was wearing when he was last seen.”

Adam is described as about 5ft 10, of slim build, with short dark hair and brown eyes.

He was wearing dark grey jeans, a grey jacket and a grey, white and red striped woollen hat when he was last seen.
