Police investigate after cyclist hit by car at Minster roundabout, near Ramsgate

An investigation has been launched after a cyclist was hit by a car at a roundabout.

The man was struck by a white Ford Kuga near Ramsgate while riding a bike.

The cyclist and the car both reportedly left Minster Road, to travel over the Minster roundabout when the collision took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 12.

The man suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Police have now issued an appeal, urging witnesses to the collision, which took place between 2.45pm and 3.15pm, to come forward.

Anyone who was driving in the area and has dashcam footage which might assist inquiries is also asked to get in contact.
