Kent Police officers searched Grant's flat on February 6 where he admitted there was cocaine, MDMA and disposable rubber gloves filled with drugs and gave their locations.

He was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession with intent to supply MDMA.

As officers continued their search of the property, additional amounts of cocaine were found in a clear bag in the microwave, along with more disposable gloves, a quantity of herbal cannabis, a set of scales, about £4,600 in cash and several mobile phones.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Leigh Morris said: "Officers seized a substantial amount of drugs from Grant’s home – drugs that he was planning to introduce to Thanet.

"Kent Police does not tolerate drug dealing – we will always take action – and hopefully Grant will use his time behind bars to realise that."
