Police find drugs and £700 in cash after vehicle stopped in Canterbury Road East in Ramsgate

Crack cocaine, heroin and £700 in cash have been seized after police stopped a car in the early hours of the morning.

Officers stopped the vehicle in Canterbury Road East in Ramsgate at 1am on Sunday, believing it to be concerned in the supply of drugs.

A large amount of suspected crack cocaine and heroin, along with cash, was seized as part of an ongoing investigation.

A 29-year-old man from south London was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
