Birchington: A28 Canterbury Road blocked following crash and oil spillage

A key road is partially blocked following an accident and oil spillage.

Emergency services are at the scene on the A28 Canterbury Road in Birchington near Seamark Road.

There are reports of delays in the area and a KCC representative is en route to assist with the oil spillage.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving two vehicles at 1.56pm.

"Officers are currently attending the scene on the Londonbound side of the A28 Canterbury Road near Brooksend in Birchington."
