He was also given a seven year Football Banning Order after pleading guilty in October.

The incident between fans happened in the beer garden of the Coat and Badge pub in Putney on February 22 last year during a game between Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC.

DC Phil Dickinson, from the Met’s Public Order Unit, said: “Football violence, whether in the stadium or not, will be investigated.

"Anyone who participates in this type of behaviour – which reflects badly on the club and its fans – will be brought to justice.

“Not only is Krunic facing two years’ imprisonment but upon his release, he will be unable to watch the team he claims to support.”
