Police investigating the suspected murder of Becky Anne Morgan are looking for her Galaxy S phone and witnesses

Police investigating the suspected murder of a teenage girl have made a fresh appeal for witnesses.

Becky Anne Morgan, from Ramsgate, was pulled from the water off Broadstairs at 7.45am on Sunday, May 1.

Police officers want to hear from anyone who remembers seeing a young couple between 2am and 2.45am on Sunday on the East Pier in Ramsgate.

A 21-year-old man from Ramsgate was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been released on police bail to return to a police station

Detectives are asking anyone who may have been fishing in the area, working on the boats in the harbour, or perhaps in the area on holiday at that time to get in touch.

A hunt is also on for Miss Morgan’s mobile phone which has still not been recovered.

The phone is a white Samsung Galaxy S phone and on the back was a sticker with the words ‘you are beautiful’ which may or may not still be attached.

Anyone who has found a phone which fits this description in the Thanet area is again urged to contact police.
