Man arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage after getting onto the roof of a building

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a window after "climbing onto the roof of a building".

Police were called at about 7.40pm last night to a disturbance in Kent Terrace, Ramsgate, where it was reported that a man was acting aggressively.

Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "Officers attended the scene and the man later climbed onto a roof of a premises in Harbour Parade.

"He later came down from the roof on his own accord".
