Man arrested after emergency services called to Canterbury Road East, Ramsgate

A man has been arrested following a huge emergency service response at a home.

Police were called to Canterbury Road East in Ramsgate this morning to carry out an arrest.

Paramedics and fire crews were also spotted at the scene near the Shell petrol station.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended an address in Canterbury Road, Ramsgate this morning to carry out an arrest.

“Upon arrival, officers became concerned for a man's welfare and other agencies were called to assist.

“The man was later arrested on suspicion of harassment and taken into custody.”

It is understood no injuries were reported.
