A Ramsgate householder was threatened with a knife after answering his door.

Police have released an efit image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The man knocked at the door of the house in Seafield Road at about 10pm on Tuesday, October 15.

When the 55-year-old man answered the door the man threatened him with a knife and asked if there was a safe.

The home-owner shouted for help from his sons and the offender was forced from the house but in the disturbance the householder’s hand was cut and he needed to have stitches.

Or contact Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online.
