Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service attend incident near Margate main sands

A man has died at a seafront bus shelter after police and ambulance crews were called amid concerns for his welfare.

Three police cars and two ambulance crews were called to Marine Drive in Margate at 5.37pm last night, but the man died at the scene.

His death is not believed to be suspicious and the matter has been passed to the coroner.

Next of kin have been made aware.
