People find their cars keyed in several Ramsgate streets

A man has been captured on camera keying cars along several streets.

People living in St Lukes Avenue and Denmark Road in Ramsgate woke up to find their vehicles covered in scratches. Much of the damage is thought to have happened around 4am this morning.

Footage has also been shared online by Spencer Hards who said he sharing it for a friend who is not on Facebook but whose car could be seen getting scratched.

He added: "Please get in touch if you have any info.

Stewart Pearce added: "At least 20k worth of criminal damage to cars in St Lukes Avenue overnight included my car and Camper, and at least 30 other cars."

A police spokesman confirmed four reports of cars being damaged in St Lukes Avenue and Denmark Road.

They added: "The damage was discovered early on Saturday and enquiries to identify the person responsible are ongoing."
